NURSERY
The Nursery in MVPS is a place where children of different backgrounds come together and bloom in a unique way – spiritually, physically and mentally with value-based education. Refreshing of Memory (ROM) is conducted in order to take away the fear of examination. Study from text book is a necessity, yet, all learning experiences in KG is embellished through child-oriented project work.
KINDER GARTEN
This section comprises two classes—the LKG and the UKG of the kindergarten. A play-based approach is used in the pre-primary classes, so children are not burdened with heavy bags, books, or homework. Here, children discover knowledge through fun and play. They learn through play and group activities such as art, music, language, science, and physical education. The teaching and learning methods aim to develop each child’s intelligence and independence. Through this approach, children learn by engaging in activities that involve exploration, manipulation, sequencing, repetition, abstraction, and communication.
LOWER PRIMARY
Classes I – II constitute the primary section. The following subjects are taught at the primary level.
UPPER PRIMARY
Classes III – V constitute the primary section. The following subjects are taught at the primary level.
LOWER SECONDARY SECTION
Classes From VI – VIII Constitute The Primary Section. The Following Subjects Are Taught At The Primary Level.
SECONDARY SECTION
Classes IX and X are considered as the secondary section. Students need to study only two languages, English and Malayalam / Hindi at the Secondary level. The following are the subjects for study at the Secondary level.English, Malayalam/Hindi, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Work Experience (Computer Science), Art Education, Physical and Health Education.
CO – CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES We believes in the integral formation of its children and insists on values, morals, character and skill development of all the students. To develop the varied interests and different talents of pupils, we provide ample opportunity, through several co-curricular activities. Besides academic training, the students are given opportunity to get involved in artistic, cultural and social activities through various clubs. A variety of activities linked with the syllabus and new trends in education are organised. The underlying purpose is to prepare and train the students mentally, physically, socially and emotionally to face any eventuality with confidence.
